Richard has been our Director of Music and our Organist and Carillonneur since 1984. Under his direction the sixteen-voice professional choir has become well-known for the beauty of its singing and the breadth of its repertoire, including choral music from the 15th century to the present, sung by some of the finest choral singers in the city. Richard has served as professor of Organ and Church Music at Carthage College and previously taught at Northern Illinois University. He has also served as organist for the Lyric Opera, the Chicago Symphony Brass and the Grant Park Symphony, among others.
