Mike and his wife, Barbara, raised their family in Lake Forest, Illinois, where he was received into the Episcopal Church at the Church of the Holy Spirit. Since joining St. Chrysostom’s he has been active in various ministries and committees as well as the Investment Committee at St. Leonard’s Ministries which serve our recently incarcerated sisters and brothers. He is grateful to the clergy, parishioners and his Discernment Committee for their generous support of his ministry as Verger. He is especially grateful for the love and support of his family; his daughter Emily and her husband Geoff, his daughter Elizabeth and her husband Eric and his awesome granddaughters, Catherine and Maggie. His beloved wife, Barbara, passed away in 2021. He has been a Chicago-based Investment Banker since graduating from Carthage College with a degree in Economics in 1970 and is a proud Navy veteran.
