I had the opportunity to meet Ms. Anne Cordes of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Evanston recently, and she told me about the work of Seraj Libraries. I was intrigued and am always trying to think of ways that I might be able to help a region of the world that has experienced such suffering. I have invited her to our parish to tell us about her experience with Seraj, and you are warmly invited to an evening of light refreshment, education, and conversation.
Come learn about the importance of the Seraj Library Project in the lives of Palestinian families, the myriad ways in which its programs are growing in depth and reach, and the obstacles they continually overcome. Seraj Board Member Anne Cordes will tell the story with pictures and videos, and we will have time for discussion.
