I have had the pleasure of having some rich conversations with members of St. Chrysostom’s who are trying to find ways to align their Christian faith with their civic responsibilities in this post-COVID, post-modern, and internet age.
While there are Christians in every generation who grapple with a faithful response to secular power, perhaps none offered as much challenge in the 20th century as German-Lutheran pastor and anti-Nazi dissident Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
